Capacity Building Program
What is the Capacity Building Program?
ATRC invites CSOs who are currently working or plan to work on the Prevention of Violent Extremism (PVE) to apply for our next Capacity Building Program. The Program is designed to grow CSOs’ capacity to work on PVE issues through interactive workshops, mentoring, and a small grant up to 10.000 euros. Selected organizations can expect:
- Individual capacity building plans to work towards growing your organization in the next year.
- Interactive trainings on working on the prevention of violent extremism (PVE) and the rehabilitation and reintegration (R&R) of returnees from foreign conflicts as CSOs.
- Tailored workshops on CSO operations that could include but are not limited to monitoring and evaluation, finance and administration, project cycle management, strategic planning …
- Mentoring and on-the-job support for nine months to ensure implementation of the capacity building plans.
The capacity building program is part of the Resilient and Inclusive Communities Program funded by the Global Community Engagement and Resilience Fund (GCERF).
Application Process
To apply, please send the Application Form, your organization’s registration certificate, fiscal number, certificate of No Debt to TAK to [email protected] with the subject line “RICP – Capacity Building Program”.
Application Closing Date: 6 May 2024.
Eletronic proposals must be received before the closing date and time. Applications received after this time will not be considered.
Eligibility & selection process
All Kosovo registered CSOs are eligible to apply. The selection of CSOs will be based on the following criteria:
- Motivation to commit to the capacity building program
The Capacity Building Program consists of many workshops and mentoring sessions. Active participation and demonstrated dedication to your organization’s growth is a key priority in selection of the participating organizations.
- Relevance of previous work to the prevention of violent extremism
While no set level of experience is required, previous implementation of activities in relevant fields of social cohesion, increasing socio-economic opportunities for marginalized communities, etc. will be considered.
- Geographic location
ATRC is committed to empower CSOs in all parts of Kosovo. CSOs that work in rural and hard to reach areas are encouraged to apply.
