Capacity Building Program

What is the Capacity Building Program?

ATRC invites CSOs who are currently working or plan to work on the Prevention of Violent Extremism (PVE) to apply for our next Capacity Building Program. The Program is designed to grow CSOs’ capacity to work on PVE issues through interactive workshops, mentoring, and a small grant up to 10.000 euros. Selected organizations can expect:

  • Individual capacity building plans to work towards growing your organization in the next year.
  • Interactive trainings on working on the prevention of violent extremism (PVE) and the rehabilitation and reintegration (R&R) of returnees from foreign conflicts as CSOs.
  • Tailored workshops on CSO operations that could include but are not limited to monitoring and evaluation, finance and administration, project cycle management, strategic planning …
  • Mentoring and on-the-job support for nine months to ensure implementation of the capacity building plans.

The capacity building program is part of the Resilient and Inclusive Communities Program funded by the Global Community Engagement and Resilience Fund (GCERF).
