ATRC Signs Partnership Contracts with Civil Society Organizations in Kosovo

On June 5th, 2024, ATRC – PIAKOS Project, funded by the World Bank, held the contract signing ceremony with 11 consortium partners, total of 25 civil society organizations in Kosovo.  

Through this partnership, approximately 1 million dollars is allocated to support the capacity building of civil society aimed at improving public awareness property rights in Kosovo. 

The project’s objectives and planned activities aim to increase the level of public awareness about the importance of property registration and its economic benefits for all population groups in Kosovo, with a special focus on women, youth, and vulnerable groups.  

Contract Signing Ceremony gathered representatives from 25 civil society organizations in Kosovo, the PIAKOS team, and representatives from the World Bank office in Kosovo. 

In line with the Sustainable Development Goals, in the next two years, ATRC and its partners will focus on advocacy and public awareness activities, providing counseling assistance regarding procedures for registering immovable property, and inheritance rights for all. 

PIAKOS is supported by the World Bank, the State and Peacebuilding Fund, and implemented by the Advocacy Training and Resource Center – ATRC.
