As a full-service training and support, ATRC provides consultancy and training programs designed to meet the current and evolving needs of our clients. ATRC provides services to beneficiaries of Civil Society Organizations, Local and International Institutions, Business and Companies, and to all other parties of interest.

Our services include basic and advanced training and consultancy in key areas of organizational development, project management and advocacy.

ATRC has trainers/consultants with previous experience and expertise of strengthening individual and organizational capacities in development fields. ATRC provides two types of services:

PROJECT PROPOSAL DESIGN

This workshop covers general overview of writing project proposal including all elements of the project proposal. The methodology is based on the Logical Framework Approach and enables participants to develop projects from initial ideas to establishing goals and objectives, proposal implementation plans and budgeting.

PROJECT CYCLE MANAGEMENT

The workshop aimed to increase the level of understanding on how to manage Project Cycle through methodologies for problem identification, project implementation and evaluation.

This workshop covers key components of project management based on logical framework method of analysis.

The objective of the PCM module is to improve the management of activities through involvement of the main actors as stakeholders in realizing the project objectives. The module covers the topics on: identifying the project cycle and logical framework approach, writing proposal stage through stakeholder’s analysis, problem analysis, analysis of the objectives and strategic analysis, continuing by implementation stage, building the log frame matrix and evaluation of the project.

NGO MANAGEMENT

This workshop covers fundamentals of NGO management and organizational development. Participants will revisit their missions, develop strategic planning skills, and be introduced to the principles of sustainable NGO capacity development.

FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT

This workshop covers accounting basis, the current account, daily and monthly record keeping, bank reconciliation, planning and budgeting, financial policies and procedures and glossary of important accounting terms.

PUBLIC RELATIONS AND MARKETING

This workshop focuses on communications between organizations and stakeholders, while specifically integrating and outreaching audiences. Training topics included: Introduction of Public Relations, differences between PR and marketing and PR strategy, by communicating through different approaches and through delivering appropriate messages.

ADVOCACY AND COALITION BUILDING

This workshop focuses on development of advocacy and coalition skills necessary to carry out effective advocacy work. It will help participants to build an understanding of the advocacy process and how it influences public policies; identify advocacy issues; choose clear advocacy objectives; select effective advocacy strategies; and develop networks and coalitions for greater advocacy impact.

ROLE OF NGO’S IN CIVIL SOCIETY

This workshop will cover the concepts, structures and defining characteristics of civil society and the NGO sector in democratic and transitioning societies. Discussions will focus on features of, and relationships between the state, market and civil society; distinctive roles of NGOs in national and global development; advancement of democratic traditions and strengthening civil society; and issues, trends and challenges for the NGOs in the Balkans. Participants will also learn how to map the Kosovo civil society environment and NGO sector and develop strategies for strengthening their impact on social, economic and political development.

PARTICIPATORY AND GOOD GOVERNANCE

This workshop covers the concepts, structures and principles governing NGOs and the nonprofit sector. Components include, International Standards for NGOs; Board roles, functions and responsibilities; NGO accountability, transparency and codes of conduct; development of democratic management practices, and solid financial management and administrative systems.

LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT

This workshop aimed to increase level of understanding on the Leadership and Management. Module incorporates understanding leadership and Management, Differences between Leadership and Management, Communication in Organization, Organizational Conflict and Change, Delegation and progressive management and Coaching.

STRATEGIC PLANNING

This workshop covers strategic planning for organization needs by covering strategic structure through problem analysis and identification of strategic objectives. Methodologies include SWOT and PESTLE analysis and identification of potential strengths which can help organizations to follow their activities in conjunction with their mission and vision.

COST ANALYSIS

This workshop covers definition and the importance of cost analysis in assessing possible outcomes of expenditures related to budget preparation and financial management within projects. Identifying considerations which affect cost allow ability and by incorporating cost-benefit analysis.

MONITORING AND EVALUATION

This workshop focuses on approaches towards monitoring and evaluation methodologies of practice. Participants will be introduced with different approaches by identification of indicators, differences between Monitoring and Evaluation, practical usage of the M&E on the field, reporting and of the importance of the Monitoring and Evaluation in the projects implemented by respective organizations.

CONFLICT MANAGEMENT

This workshop is focused on understanding of Conflict Management and tools to approach interactively conflicts in different contexts. Topics include: understanding conflict, working with conflict, roles, communication, social conflict and development cooperation. The module aims at providing necessary information’s in managing conflicts in different situations by involvement of different stakeholders from government, civil society or other possible actors.
