Participatory youth work
23 young people from diverse communities across Kosovo came together for a 3-day Inclusive Change Lab in Brezovica. Through team-building exercises and games they learned about young people’s social rights, inclusion, tolerance and how our actions affect others. They learned more about youth work and worked together to develop initiatives in their own communities.

ATRC MAIN PROGRAMS
Working towards our vision of an enabling environment for democratic resilience and active civic engagement, ATRC has three main programs: advocacy, capacity building, and resilient & inclusive communities.
Through these three programs, ATRC aims to increase citizen and civil society participation in decision-making by building their capacities to assess and address needs in their communities, facilitate and support their advocacy actions, and empower them as crucial actors in building resilient and inclusive communities in order to mitigate the push and pull factors that could lead to polarization and violent extremism.

ATRC invites printing companies based in Kosovo to participate in a tender opportunity to support the PIAKOS project on national and local awareness-raising campaigns to increase awareness of property registration and dispute resolution mechanisms for addressing property rights.

Trainings and mentoring support for Civil Society Organizations, Community/ youth centers, non-formal groups
CSO leadership and management
1- day training on the introduction to the basics of CSO leadership and management for new or starting CSOs.
Topics can include:
1) leadership vs management and their roles and responsibilities,
2) recruiting and motivating staff and volunteers,
3) internal communication,
4) brief overview of different aspects of management: operations, project cycle management, funding, human resources, impact,
5) brief introduction to strategy, vision, mission.
Outputs: organizational structure with roles and responsibilities, internal communications system and guidelines
Strategy development
3 - day workshop to reflect on and consolidate
1) the organization’s vision and mission,
2) core values,
3) theory of change and approach,
4) the organization’s added value,
5) strategic priorities,
6) strategic plan. If the organization has already had a strategy before, the workshop will start with an evaluation of the previous strategy.
Outputs: strategy evaluation (if applicable), strategy, strategic plan
Project Cycle Management
3 - day workshop covering the key aspects of project cycle management, including:
1) problem analysis/ needs assessment,
2) proposal writing: setting goals and objectives, developing a theory of change, deciding on impactful activities,
3) project implementation,
4) reporting,
5) monitoring & evaluation

3-4 day workshop covering
1) legal requirements of a CSOs,
2) financial management, budgeting, and reporting

2 - day workshop on fundraising covering:
1) different sources of funding, and the importance of diversifying funding;
2) donor relations and funding,
3) networking and building consortia,
4) private sector support,
5) non-project related funding,
6) developing a fundraising plan

Communication and outreach strategies
2 - day workshop for organizations to
1) determine their target audience and key messages,
2) set SMART communications goals,
3) learn about communication tools and approaches,
4) develop an outreach plan,
5) develop external communications guidelines/branding

Conveying impact: from donor reports to publications
1-2 day workshop covering
1) how to convey impact over activity
2) applicability to reporting, website and social media,
3) types of publications: factsheets, conclusion papers, policy briefs, etc. A second day is optional to work towards a specific publication.

Advocacy
1-2 day advocacy workshop covering
1) steps of the advocacy process,
2) advocacy issues, targets, allies and opponents,
3) advocacy strategies and message formulation,
4) communication with media and building coalitions,
5) developing an advocacy campaign plan

Operational capacity assessment planning
In depth assessment of the organizations capacities relating to 1) governance & human resources, 2) project cycle management, 3) resource mobilization & sustainability, 4) external relations and outreach, 5) administration and procurement, and 6) financial management and development of a tailored plan to improve the organization’s capacities.
Setting up/ revamping website
Support in (re-)writing the website content, improve structure and design.
Assistance in the writing of a proposal
Support in writing a project proposal from start to finish. Depending on the topic of the call for proposals one person will support in the writing of the narrative, and a finance person will support in developing the budget.
Writing of a publication
Support in writing a publication from brainstorming the initial idea, perform research as required, write up the publication and publication.
The Grievance Redress Mechanism serves as a pivotal avenue for stakeholders, Partner CSO's suppliers, and community members to voice their concerns, complaints, or grievances.
